I made this layout for my dad and his wife's first anniversary. I plan on doing all, or most of, the wedding pictures for them. They are some of the most important people in my life. I am a self pronouced Daddy's Girl! LOL They will be moving soon and I will miss them terribly!

Thanks everyone for your kind words on my backgrounds! If the links go down let me know and I will see what I can do to get some new ones up! Also keep your eyes out for new freebies. My Birthday and First FREEBIE!!!!!

Well, I couldn't sleep last night so I decided to play in paint shop pro...and guess what. I managed to make something...LOL. I made 3 backgrounds. There is no theme to them, I was just having fun. And since its my birthday today I figured it was the perfect day to give away my very first freebie. Here is a preview:

Hey there! I hope you all found this ok! :) Like I said in the email I sent out you can save these pics to your computers (right click-save as) and as soon as I find out the best and cheapest way to print them I will let you all know. I really hope you all enjoy the scrapbook pages. I will occasionally post just pics for you all too!

The kids started school on the 16th this month. Russel started 2nd grade and will be 7 the 23 of September. Brianna started high school and will be 15 the 1st of October. Of course Russ is thoroughly enjoying school. Brianna seems to have a new outlook on school. She seems determined to keep her grades up and do good. We are very happy to see this change in her. She also tried out for the jazz choir at the end of last year and is one of 2 freshmen to be admitted into this class. I can say that she is growing leaps and bounds, not just physically but mentally also.

James is working to hard as always. We have found someone to help him get everything he needs together and the paper work filled out for his General contractors license, I just do not understand all legal mumbo-jumbo on the paper work...LOL. We are hoping to get all that underway soon so he can work his own hours at his own terms! It will be nice when it happens, although I don't expect him to slow down much!

I am doing well. My health is getting gradually better. Besides that I am just trying to figure out how to be a stay at home mom and wife. It is such an odd role for me, I'm so use to working or going to school. I have not given up on school, just ran into some bumps and am taking a break.

My Heart...1st LO With Scrapbook Factory Deluxe

I did my first layout with the Scrapbook Factory Deluxe Program. I really like this program for making layout. It was really easy to use with lots of options for what you can do with pictures, embellishments, and text! This is my baby boy, now almost 7, when he was 6 months old. He is my mircle child, since his birth I have miscarried 5 times. So I thank the heavens everyday that I have him! He really is my heart!

Looking for

Ok...im looking for something rather unusual in the scrapbooking world. I need a few digital scrapbooking kits that are based aroud the group ICP (Insane Clown Posse). My little brother and his girlfriend are getting married in April and they are hugh fans of this group. I really want to make them a scrapbook with embellishments and backgrounds based around this group. If anyone can help me it would be very much apprecated!

New Layout

ok...Since I am having no luck with PSP right now I went back to using scrapbook flair to do my layouts, until I find something else. I really do not like this program because you are SO limited in what you can do with your layouts!

Anyway, here is a less intresting LO from what I had done in PSP. I really wish I could get the PSP version to load, it looks so much better...

No matter how unhappy with the layout I am, we are all VERY proud of Brianna for graduating the 8th grade. Now we hope she keeps her grades up in high school! Teenagers....LOL

OK...still haven't figured out why we can not upload the layout from PSP...Looks like I am going to have to find another easy to use layout program while I work my way through PSP...LOL! To top it off my computer went down and I lost everything anyway! What an adventure the last few days have been!

So as soon as I get everything reloaded...(Rolling eyes)...I will get back on making layouts and posting them.

Complete Frustration!!!

Ok...only my second post and already a rant! I finally did my first layout in PSP...and now I can not upload it ANYWHERE..Not even here. Whats the point of creating layouts if I will not be able to share them on even my blog??? I just don't understand what the heck is the problem!

I will have to ask Hubby when he gets home. Hopefully we can figure it out and I will have the layout up later this evening! Its really cute!! LOL

Hi all...My name is Mandi and I recently discovered the most addicting past time...digital scrapbooking. I find it rather hard to remember what I post where with so many different scrapbook communities out there so I decided I would start a blog so that everything is in one place! Also, this way anyone can come on in and see....not just members of whatever forum my pages are posted in! I do not design yet...although I am currently trying to teach myself how to use paint shop pro, for layouts and designs. As soon as I do manage to get something designed I will definatly post it here for anyone who wants it!

Anyway here are a few pages ive done. Both of these were done with the Scrapbook Flair program and embellishments/backgrounds.

This is my son, his dad, and grandma at Christmas time 2005. This is the first layout I did and made it especially for his grandma as she does not get to see him much and I am really bad at sending photos.

This is my dad, 2 uncles, aunt, and papa when my dad went back to Tenn. early this summer. I really loved doing this one for them since I do not get to see my family often.

Anyway I hope to be able to keep up on this and get a few things designed soon for you all. Especially for all the wonderful designers out there that offer freebies! I love them and am enternally grateful for them!
